Easy as 1 2 3 ☝️ Here’s a quick tutorial on how to play ruffs on the castanet machine with a “rolling fingers” technique. We’re playing this on one of our Overture Castanet Machines. The tension adjustment knob allows the distance between the cups to be fine tuned–very helpful when you want to find the sweet spot for achieving this roll. This triplet could be referred to as a triple “Glope’” and adding an additional note to this triplet would make it a “Caretilla” or a 4-stroke-ruff if you will.
