The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office has unveiled its new emergency notification system called Smart911 Rave, replacing the Code Red system the county has used for more than a decade.

Rave Alert and Smart911 will likely improve public safety, the county said. Transylvania County residents can enroll and provide optional household information to aid rescuers in case of emergency.
